Asteria is an instrument-free straightforward benchtop kit that any researcher or technician can handle without training. Particularly suited for fresh samples, you can process your fresh biopsies on-site immediately to limit changes in the time-sensitive transcriptome, and in a standardized fashion across multiple sites.
With a possibly irregular surgery schedule in mind, we designed an early stopping point when cells can be frozen in the hydrogel, preserving the trancriptomic information for more than a month, enabling you to process those samples at any time of the day.
Moreover, this stopping point gives you the flexiblity to ship your samples frozen in the hydrogel to a central location or platform for processing the molecular biology steps and the sequencing to follow.

Fast to handle the data!
Cytonaut™ is quite fast to handle the data, it can analyze a large set of genes at the same time thanks to a heatmap, and features subselecting cells of interest.

Very easy to use!
Asteria™ single-cell RNA-seq kit is very easy to use, the protocol is extremely well done, everything is already annotated, calculated, the user just has to follow the steps one after the other. The stopping points are regular, which is essential because 2 full days are needed to carry out the experiment. The explanatory videos are very useful to understand the technical points that are a little different compared to other kits classically used in the laboratory.
