Fast-track to single-cell publication data

scRNA-seq is at the forefront of genomic innovation, becoming a staple, often even a requirement, of publications featuring transcriptomics data.

However, implementing an scRNA-seq workflow had been far from straightforward in the past. To counter this, the biologists and bioinformaticians at Scipio bioscience worked together to enable researchers to extract the best possible data from their samples without the headaches and months of setup.

A safe, easy-to-implement sample preparation workflow

Regarding sample preparation, many technologies have circumvoluted and risk-prone protocols involving instrumentation or manipulating the cell through fixation or other harsh conditions. This can lead to higher risks for your sample and altered transcriptomes.

Asteria is the only scRNA-seq solution for focusing on processing fresh cells to recover the most authentic transcriptome.

Moreover, the entire protocol takes place in a single-tube to limit risks, with the cells being cushioned in a hydrogel to remove mechanical and shearing stress.

With a simple kit format, you can start your scRNA-seq experiment straight away, and repeat whenever needed.

An intuitive data analysis software for all levels

A notorious bottleneck for single-cell experiments is the data analysis – it’s a difficult beast to tame, with the size and the complexity of single-cell datasets hardly within reach of the inexperienced.

Solutions exist, but usually long, tedious, step-by-step pipelines with some basic coding knowledge required, or “black box” software where the user has no interaction with their data or how it’s treated.

This is why our team of researchers and software developers developed Cytonaut, a biologist-friendly software guiding the user through the entire single-cell analysis pipeline while granting full freedom to tailor the analysis as required.

Moreover, it’s the only online single-cell software that is entirely cloud-based, meaning accessible from a webpage on any computer. Armed with your raw sequencing data, you can start extracting your first figures within hours.

Hear what some of our users have to say!

Very easy to use!

Asteria™ single-cell RNA-seq kit is very easy to use, the protocol is extremely well done, everything is already annotated, calculated, the user just has to follow the steps one after the other. The stopping points are regular, which is essential because 2 full days are needed to carry out the experiment. The explanatory videos are very useful to understand the technical points that are a little different compared to other kits classically used in the laboratory.

Fast to handle the data!

Cytonaut™ is quite fast to handle the data, it can analyze a large set of genes at the same time thanks to a heatmap, and features subselecting cells of interest.

From the point of view of a beginner : it is quite easy, it offers nice features and a good aesthetic.

Easy to follow!

The protocol is easy to follow, and the videos can help with the critical points (especially for mixing at a certain angle).

The stopping points allow to spread the manipulation in 2 sessions and even more.
