To further push back the cell size limitation in single-cell, we processed a cardiomyocyte sample (cell size > 30 microns) with the Asteria benchtop scRNA-seq kit. Thanks to the RevGel hydrogel technology, we were able to successfully capture and profile cells whose size prevents them to be used in microfluidic-based technologies. This project was executed in-house by the R&D team of Scipio bioscience.
